Patrick Kevin O’Kane, 84, of Neptune Beach passed away on 15 December 2021. Born in Belfast, he came to the United States in the 1950s and liked to note his Irish immigrant background. After serving in the US Army, he had a long career at Southern Wine and Spirits, retiring in 1999. He married Mary Jo in 1965; they shared 56 years together and were often seen dancing at weddings, attending mass at St. Paul’s, or walking the beach hand in hand. He is survived by his wife Mary Jo O’Kane, his son Patrick O’Kane, and his daughter Miriam Mara.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, 17 December at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with a viewing at Hardage-Giddens, Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach FL,10am-12pm the same morning. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
