Patsy L. Williams, affectionately known as Granny, left this Earth to be with her Lord on Thursday September 27, 2012. She was 68 years old and passed away in the comfort of her home with her husband of 49 years by her side. Patsy devoted her life to caring for those she loved. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends most and lit up a room with her smile. She was never far from her two adoring grandchildren, Brooke and Brett, whom she cared for often. She leaves behind her husband, Booty Williams, her two children, Harry Williams and Deborah Williams, her daughter in law, Marla Buchanan, her two grandchildren, Brooke and Brett Williams along with three sisters, Joyce, Peggy, Tootsie, one brother, R.T. Moore and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. North. A celebration of her life will be held graveside on Monday October 1, 2012 at 11am in Evergreen Cemetery (Gate 5).
