Merry Christmas Dad,just want you to know we love you and everyone. That is in Heaven.And wish you were here.

Well Dad just wanted to say we miss you .And that little Lew and his sweet Wife are doing good down here.and it helps to have them here .well we are just trying to take it day by day .but it helps just to be able to think of everyone .and how much you touch their hearts .

Well Dad as you well know I'm having a time with my health .But as long as I trust in God .then I know that everything will work out and me Mom are trying to take care of things with each other as far as health and stuff .and I'm still blessed to be with my the awesome man in my life that was a gift from above .and the grandkids are doing good .and now that the church has totally changed it is hard to be there it is like once you left everyone went and pulled apart well all I know is I will always pray for everyone and try and hold my head up high and keep up my trying to get by day after day . and I'm really glad that I'm able to be there. and help out at home as much as I can. I don't get to as much as before. because of my health. but I try as much as I can .and just know we miss you and everyone in haven more and more everyday .and we love you all.

Well Dad it's almost a new year again .  and we are still trying to handle all the things .with you and it is still like we keep waiting for you to come from work. and say hey clyde what did you for country today . and what's for lunch to mom .and it just keeps getting harder as time goes by .but the thing that helps is your not in pain .and we know you are in haven and doing good. and wish us all not to be sad. because you are doing good things. and we will all see you again someday . and just know you touch so many hearts while you were here as well as since you have gone . and there 's not a day goes by we don't think of you .and everyone up in haven . and yes next month mark the month that I lost my birth father so yes it is hard  but it will get better as  is time of this that make us strong year after year  .but just know I will keep my promise that I will always be the one who gets to have fun helping mom go through everything and sorry you get to miss all of our fun . but it's ok . God needed you to help get things in order so we understand . and we you  and all that had to go before us .

well dad it just does not feel like the Christmas no more .since you had to go .but I do know that you would want us to keep on going and make you proud .so I try to but it is so hard to some times and when life seems to get me and others down. I just think back to when so many of the loves used to tell me. please don't let the devil win .you know better and as long you believe you will be ok .and so then I pick myself back up .and say yes I do believe .and I know that God will never give me what I can't handle .so I just my day off with a prayer to say please give the strength I need to make it through the day . and be able to helps others .that I maybe able to help . and I do enjoy helping others and I just pray that everyone stay safe over the Christmas and new years .for we all never know when it is our time .and we all wish you were still here to be with us . and as you know me mom are still having fun trying to go through stuff ,since you have gone and I remember you picking on me saying well aj you'll have fun going through this stuff when I'm gone .well I wish you were still here to help us and mostly just still being around .and I miss so many of ya'll .that are gone .it's so hard to believe that you been gone 2yrs already and my birthfather has been gone since jan of 2008 . so yes it is so hard to end the year and start the year . because I miss everyone so much .and I know that bear misses you to so  much . I let mom know that all the hugs she gets are the ones you send from haven.well as you also my brother is doing much better now and me mom go see him when we can and he loves the bible classes he he in .and as far me. am fixing to do some books on poems in memory of the ones ,that have gone on to a better place .and also do some prayer pockets clothes .to be able to be at home and be able to start a at home job to help others . and mostly just being able to keep every ones memory alive still . well we love you and miss you and everyone and I'm trying to help out as much as I can to help others and I'm looking forward to starting the cookbooks also .

Well Dad it's almost that dreadful time again when we had to let go . But we know you are still here with us all .but it just is not the same when it comes down to events at the church .because I miss you picking on me and you and mom doing all the food and stuff . and there not any of the wick lady's lunches that someone does not say how much the church really misses you .well I know mom and all of us do and so does bear .well you would be really proud of Robbie he is doing good now with the center he is in and dad I know you touched his heart from up above to go there . and me mom and do get to spend a lot time to gather and we mostly get to go to our Dr's appts ,and it seems like now that your gone I'm starting to take time and get some medical stuff looked at that I put on hold . but I also have the wonderful man at home pushing to take care of this stuff to .and brie is getting big she is 9yrs now and lil eric will be the big 12 yrs old soon ,and angie is 30 now and William is 28 now will me mom are still doing stuff to the house still and aunt jane and us get to gather when we can .and lew calls when he can .and everyone still says they think it is just a bad dream and you are still here .well we all wish you were and I know you and brother hutch are all doing great things and having fun with family and friends .well dad it's just next week that marks the sad day that we know that God needed another great man to come and help out that he knew could handle the job so now I try to help out as much as I can and danny and the family have been so great to help out with helping mom and so has Anthony and his wife and mom and mrs .sandy and mrs.peggy have been doing good with getting out some .and I love being their driver from time to time and I do sit and think about all the wonderful times we had with fixing the christmas lights and things and the and all the fun times when we would go help take care of things for those at church that couldn't do it .and mrs.nancy always tells me and mom how much they miss you when it comes to the dinners .and brother charlie and brother tom miss you to . well dad we all know that one day we will see you again . and like I promised I will do my best to make you proud of how I look after mom ,and things because I know that with all you taught me I will do ok well it's never good bye it's just we will see you later dad we all love you and miss you very much love always your stepdaughter tina .pps I'm so sorry that so many didn't get a chance to know you like all of us they would have loved to and aleast you know I'm with a man that loves me and takes cares me and he wishes that he could have been able to know you better but while we didn't know you were leaving us so soon . that he was dealing with losing his dad at the same time .and as you know the end of the year and the beginning of the year are not easy for me .because in jan of 2008 I lost my birth father and then  I lost you in 2011,and also he lost his dad in the middle of that so it has not been really easy for me but I'm trying and also you would be proud of William he went in the service and did good at it and he is taking a short break but is thinking about going navy like grandpa .and angie is doing good and has a wonderful man that is good to her and kids . well we love you dad and merry Christmas .and the one gift I would want for Christmas is to have all the loves back for everyone and as for me that would the best gift of all . but you are all in my heart everyday .and mom says she knows you put bear up to giving her all the hugs and kisses just so she knows you are around still to pick on her ,and she is getting to were she even ask him for hugs now and he don't give me a chance to ask he just hugs me anyway and I'm glad we have this site so I can let you know that you are very missed .and have touched so many .

well dad it august the 5th 2013. and so I had to help mom do the grandkids school .it's ok because we had fun but it would have been a lot more fun with you here but aleast now you are not in pain and if we need you we just close our eyes and say a little prayer and you are always right there to do what you do best and that is to give us advice in a way that you know we understand .and mom still has fun with bear and I told that she should get used to the hugs he trys to give her because they are hugs from you .and you can still be proud of me i'm still cared by a awesome strong and caring man who truly does make me happy and he is so awesome with trying to help mom with advice that you used to . but one day soon we all will be togather to hang out with you and hutch and mrs.sheila and grandma rose .well dad you are so missed and you and my real dad can get things ready for a awesome homecoming .well just know I will keep my promise that I will always be there for mom and bear and the grandkids miss you so much .we wish you where still here but we know that you were needed for the big kitchen in sky to help get things ready for they awesome homecoming .so just know theres not a day goes by we don't miss you and love you and thank you for all you've done while you were here

Death can separate the bodies but nothing can separate the hearts.Phil was your lifetime true love and your Rock.One day you will be back together, laughing and having fun like you used to.He had such a gift of making people feel comfortable from the first time they met Him.No matter what anyone was in a mood to do...He was up for it ! There are not many men like that !!!

today is valentines day and Tina and I went to breakfast at hardees on merrill road.  Tina is such a help to me.  Jane called me to come to cracker barrell to have turkey and stuffing with her this afternoon.  I don't have a valentine anymore since God chose to take you on home.  Bear and I our time missing you.  He lets me brush him and that was supposed to be your job.  He is so loving.  He gets up on me and puts his paws around my neck and hugs.  I feel he is making up for the hugs we both could have if you were still here.  miss you so much.  loving you til I see you again.  Everyone misses you but knows you are in a better place.

What a dear and gentle man My Uncle Phil was. I remember his wonderful sense of humor and what an understanding and loving man he was.One of my favorite memories is when  He and Aunt Ruth came and ate supper at my house around Thanksgiving one year ! And I remember how He laughed about how my sister Carol took him on a wild sightseeing tour one time. A proud Veteran, Loving Father, and Husband. You are still missed by your Family and I love you. today is 1 year and 1 month since the doctors pronounced you as deceased. Such a sad time in my life. I miss you so very much each and every day and night. I am able to continue taking care of personal life because you always had me sit down and help with all the bills so I know how.  I thank God every day for our life together. The time we had together was such a blessing.  Hope to meet you by the river just like the song says. It's such a beautiful place to meet over there.

today is the third day of a second year without you and the year past has been very sad and lonely however, Sandy,Peggy and I still go to some gospel sings especially Lanie road.  I feel closest to you there.  I thank 
God that you agreed to start going to church at Harvest Baptist on Easter Sunday of 1991 and I am still going and sitting where we sat all those years when possible.  I am so thankful for the years we had together.  God is still on the throne and He is still good.  Til we meet in Heaven you remain in all of our hearts.

In 3 days it will be a year since we laid you to rest at the veterans cemetery just past our favorite place to go to gospel sings.I miss you so very much and I know bear does also. I am so thankful that God answerd my prayer for a Navy Chief and sent me you. I am looking forward to meeting again by the river. Til then I will go on living and you took care of me in life and you left me prepared for life if you went first.  I thsnk you snd God for our 28 years together.

I smile when I reminise about our times together because they were good times. We had a very unique relationship  and  a man lives on through your organ donor he received your liver.

I think of Phil often, even today.  He'd be happy to know that the person who takes care of my office space thinks the same thing about me that he did-she drops by just to say hi and keeps track of when I have one piece of paper in my trash because I usually have none (smile). Here's to remembering to stop and say hi to the people we come across each day.

Phil was a great guy. He was always optimistic and jovial, and he did his job exceptionally well. Coinciding with him in the morning when I arrived at work always meant a few minutes of pleasurable conversation. He often spoke happily about his church community and church activities that he enjoyed. Goodbye, Phil. You are missed.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Phil at work over the last 4 years.  What I'll miss most is the way he could always brighten my day with a smile, joke, or story.  Phil was such a genuine person and that seems to be so rare these days.  My memories are a gift to be cherished and while I miss seeing him every day, I know that he has found eternal rest and happiness.  With love,

Bro. Phil was a great man and will be greatly missed. The first word that comes to mind whenever I think about him is "dependable". He was always there doing whatever needed to be done. He was also very kind and thoughtful. I still drink out of my "donut" coffee cup and enjoyed many cheeseburgers with fried egg. He is with our Saviour now and we will see him again one day.
