Phyllis E. Green

Phyllis Elaine Green, age 88, of Jacksonville passed away on Sunday, October 16th. Phyllis was born in Ridgway, PA on February 17, 1928 and moved to Florida in 1973 to escape the cold winters. Phyllis was married to Marshall Neal Green for 51 years before his passing in 2002. Phyllis was primarily a homemaker who focused on raising her children until they had grown and left home. To fill the void left by the empty nest, Phyllis entered the workforce and retired from The Salvation Army and was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

Phyllis is survived by her children Karen Booker and spouse Lee of Contoocook, NH; Kent Green and spouse Vicki of Orlando, FL; grandson Bryan Booker; granddaughter Melanie Burkhardt and spouse Chuck, and great-grandson Kevin Flynn Burkhardt.
