Randy Northrup, 59, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015. Randy was born on February 24, 1956, in Selkirk, and graduated from RCS High School in 1974. He retired from CSX after 30 years of dedicated service. Randy was a member of the A1A Parrotheads of Jacksonville and loved spending some of his free time on the beach with friends, dressed in his favorite
Hawaiian shirts and sandals.
Randy was predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Estelle, and his brother, Daniel. He is survived by his children, David (Jaime) of Jacksonville, Kevin (Tera) of Honolulu, Brian of Albany, Jessica of Jacksonville, and Joshua of Albany; his brother,
Dennis of Selkirk, and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A viewing will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home in Jacksonville (904-249-2374) from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, with funeral services to be held Friday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
