Raymond Clyde Ogilvie, 86 years old, from Mayport, Florida passed peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday Nov. 10, 2013. He was a sweet, gentle kind and conservative man who was a WW 2 Navy Veteran, and a retired Inspector of the Army Corps of Engineers. He was also a member of the Oak Harbor Baptist Church.
Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn Ogilvie, daughter Olivia, and 2 grandsons, Justin Tanner and Ricky Goodman.
Surviving family members are his sister, Clara Phillips, daughters Claire Gonzalez (Eddie) Jody Brown, and son, Ray Ogilive Jr.
Surviving Grandchildren are Justin Gonzalez, Josh & Samantha Lester, Chris, Caleb & Kyle Frazier, & Jamie Lovette, as well as numerous Great-Grandchildren. He was so dearly loved and will be so dearly missed.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, November 14 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. A graveside service will be held 11am Friday, November 15 at Mayport Cemetery off of Mayport Landing Dr. in Mayport, FL.
