Sherron, I never have met a more gentle, caring soul than Bob. He was the kind of teacher students remember,because he truly loved them.  Bob taught me as well...that it is not always what we learn in a book that makes the difference in our lives. His students were given a beautiful gift!

I have really fond memories of Bob when we were together in high school and college.He was always happy and upbeat and had a good word for everyone.Glad I had the chance a few years ago to visit with Bob and Sherron at their home. Bob was still Bob. He and my other departed school friends, Joe Bissi, Gene Jeric and Jim Schieda will certainly raise some hell in Heaven

Mr. Kenski was not only an outstanding teacher but also a great role model and mentor for all the students. He taught his students by his example to take care of the important things in life. He knew the students and their families and treated all with respect and as his extended family. Glad to have you watching over us.

Aunt Sherron, we were all saddened to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. Please know you and the entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. Sandy and I have discussed the many happy memories we have with "Aunt Sherron & Uncle Bob and the Boys". Hope you can all find peace in this time of sadness.

Mr. Kenski was a blessing to St. Paul's.  Each student was special to him and they all knew it.  He was kind.  He had a wonderful voice and he used his gift by leading the singing at daily Masses when there would ordinarily be no music.  His smiling face and courage in the face of cancer was inspiring. May God bless him and his family.

Sherren,  I will never forget my cousin from Cleveland.  We love both of you dearly and Bob will always have a place in our hearts.  We love you, take care.

Not often do the bride and groom's parents love each other at first meeting, but that's exactly what happened 30 years ago as we began the long journey of loving our mutual children and grandchildren together.  You leave us only temporarily until we meet again in heaven but we will all feel the hole in our lives that was our friend, a good husband and father, a beloved teacher, and the best grandpa and great-grandpa. Sherron and the entire Kenski family; even though you know the end is coming and it is a relief when it finally happens, you still feel sorrow and the loss of your loved one.  My heart is heavy for I feel your loss and I will miss Bob even through I did not know him well.  Judi and I visited in Nov. 2012 with Sherron and Bob and had a wonderful time.  I have memories and pictures of us at St. Augustine and the beach as the hurricane was coming in.  We acted a fool and laughed our fool heads off.  Such wonderful memories of a wonderful man, father, teacher, and husband. . .a friend.  RIP

So sad to hear of Mr. Kenski's passing. He was a wonderful caring man and great teacher at St Paul's.  Our daughter Amanda was his student in 1996. I was his room mom. He was a wonderful teacher and the children loved him. Even when we would see him at mass, years later, he would ask about Amanda. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. He is in a wonderful place being held by God.

I can see Bob to this day in those busy high school halls where he passed with a gentle smile and a kind word.  He  was a memorable part of the class and an admirable figure.  I'm saddened by his loss.

Dear Sherron and Kenski Family,
I was privileged to be Bob's neighbor and elementary/high school classmate.  I vividly recall Bob forgoing a promising career as a tuba player to focus on high school football.  Bob was among the few classmates who had his own car, a maroon Studebaker that was a gift from his sister and brother-in-law.  What a set of wheels ---a real chick magnet!  After 43 years I was fortunate to locate Bob and Sherron in Jacksonville.  I cherish our visits and ability to reduce the Florida wine inventory.  Take comfort in knowing that Bob was an extraordinary, principled man who will enjoy a special place in heaven.  We will miss him.

My sincere condolences to you Sherron and your family.  As a high school classmate of Bob from the 1957 Garfield Hts., Ohio graduating class it was great to get to renew acquaintances with Bob after 50 years and also meet you at our 50th reunion.  The first time I met Bob was in grade school in the cafeteria at the Garfield Park Elementary School.  He came in and sat across from me.  I think he just enrolled in the school and may have transferred from another school, possibly St.. Peter & Paul in Garfield Hts. or maybe just moved into the city.  The first thing I noticed was his calm demeanor, warm smile and flat top haircut.  I liked him the minute I saw him.  Great individual.

I remember what a gentle man Bob was! When I first came to St. Paul's in 1997, Bob was one of the first teachers to introduce himself and welcome me! I hosted a Christmas party one year and my father-in-law, who was suffering from Alzheimer's was in the house. Bob struck up a conversation with him...and was just so engaging...he made this man laugh like I hadn't heard in a long time. I also loved to hear him sing at daily Mass at St. Paul's. I will treasure your smile through the halls of NBE in the afternoons.  Also, the many joyous conversations we shared at the Fletcher pool during those summer swim lessons. I'm sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. He was a good man and I will always remember his smile. I'm grateful for the times he and Aunt Sherron came to visit my grandparents and we got to play dice and laugh all night. He will be greatly missed.
