Sorry to post so late but just got the news of Roland's passing. Roland mediated our hard fought cases between employees and the Railroad. He should have been a Judge, because he was the fairest lawyer I ever met. Both sides agreed that he knew railroading inside and out, and we knew that he would not favor either side...all a lawyer can ask for!! I treasure every hour we spent together and there were many. Miriam, you know he was the best.

We sure do miss you Dad! Love reading all of the wonderful posts on the guest book. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for Dad and the family. Although, he did not go in expecting this to be his time, he sure lived a full life. On behalf of his 4 daughters, we thank you all for your love and support throughout this rough time.

Roland was a wonderful man and one of our favorite customers! We are going to greatly miss his visits and the smile that he always had on his face. We are grateful for the time that we got to spend with him in the store. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. We will miss you Roland!

Roland and I were close friends from high school through college and beyond. We were freshman room-mates at Stetson and maintained ties over the years. I lived with he and his parents one summer and remember them all fondly.
Roland was a congenial, kind and trusted friend and our mutual humor occasionally got us into predictable mischief. My wife Kay and I spent our last rendezvous together with Roland and Miriam overnight a few years ago and it is a good memory to keep in his passing.
To all of his family and friends we express our condolences and gratitude that he is now at peace.

Roland was a good friend and a good lawyer who will be missed by everyone. He had a great attitude, was always friendly, and always helpful as a mentor to young lawyers.

He is now in a better place and pain free.
