Rudy Gumataotao, 60, passed away July 26, 2013 in Jacksonville, Florida. Born in Oakland, CA, he was a longtime resident of Guam, California and Atlanta before moving to Jacksonville. Rudy was a veteran on the U.S Army and retired from the Guam Police Department in 1988, He was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders and enjoyed fishing, cooking, and oldies music. Preceded in death by his father, Adriano Perez Gumataotao; mothers, Vera Moreno and Geneave Smith Gumataotao; and brother, Joseph Vincent Gumataotao.
He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Carmen Quichocho Gumataotao; son, Raymond; daughters, Elisha (Keilah, Anaya & Chloe) and Christina (Aleah); brothers, Roscoe and Catina Gumataotao (Ryne, Kyle & Jace) and Ryan Gumataotao (Geneave & Alyssa); sister, Rosemarie "Wowee" and Anthony Marques (Adriana, Angela, Ashley, Antonette, Anthony II, & Adam) Sherry and Terry Newman and sister-in-law Rose Almandres Gumataotao; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.
