Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Bob Ethridge, and two grandsons, Tommy Gilbain and Gabriel Lynch. She is survived by her four children, Art DeAngelis, Jr. (Robin), Cathy DeAngelis, Lisa DeAngelis Mitzel (Chuck), Pat DeAngelis (Misty DeGross), step son Larry Ethridge (Edith), grandchildren, Jennifer Thies and Alex Rice, step grandchildren, Brian Mitzel (April), Maureen Lynch, Wes Davis, Biz Ruby (Beau), Grant Ethridge (Kyle) and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her former spouse, Art DeAngelis, Sr.
Ruth was the epitome of a true Southern lady. She was witty, intelligent and a confidant to many of her children's friends. Thank you, Mom, for being the type of mother others only dream of. We'll miss you.
