Today I miss you more than usual. Still never forgot about you. Rest easy.

Samer, there is not a day that has gone by that I have not thought about you. I remember seeing you playing around with the other kids up in the loft, playing Super Smash Bros and having a blast. There are so many things that pain me when I think of all the things that you hadn't yet experienced. It has been six years, Samer, and I know that I am not the only one who will say that you have left an impression within my heart. You shall forever be on my mind until we meet again in heaven. 

Samer, I could never think of what to say. I gave up trying to find a way to say how smart, funny, and wonderful you were. You were one of my best friend's, and I still think about you every day. Our last words to each other were "I love you"... I'm glad those were the ones we chose. I love and miss you with all my heart.

Samer, months and months have passed and I can't get over why you had to leave so soon. You were and always will be a great friend of mine and everyone else you have interacted with. I think about you each and everyday and I want you to know I hope you lay in peace. You will always be missed and I hope you never forget that.

My thoughts and prayers for the family that they find comfort from the Lord at this difficult time.

You're the sweetest dream I've ever had, beautiful boy.  Only God could love you more.

Samer is my son and my prayer partner. For a full year I took him to school every morning and we would pray for Lisa, Laith, Cameron, my family, children's church, and big church. We would talk about how things were going in school and in our family. We discussed things he likes, such as comic books and movies, and things we wanted to do. He specifically mentioned he wanted to go to Disney World. He thought that would be cool. We also discussed going fishing and hunting. We made it to our fishing trip where Samer, along with Lisa, caught some fish. We still had plans to go hunting. I know we will have to make our hunting trip in heaven when I get there because he is waiting for me and scoping out the territory and all the animals. Maybe a different type of hunting up there. We more than likely will not be using guns, but I'm sure we will be seeing many different types of animals that he and I will be amazed at. And he will be able to show me things for the very first time. We all have superheroes that we look up to and Samer's quote was "I am Batman." I'll see you soon, my son.

Samer was always fun to be around.  I remember teaching him about fire arm safety and shooting a gun for the first time at our house. He also enjoyed being on my motorcycle and I will miss him very much! 
Lisa and Laith - you are both exceptional people and will make it through this sad time of your life. I will be thinking and praying for you both!

Samer was an exceptional young man that was taken from this earth much too early. He was everything that dozens of people have already stated ---and more! He loved you Lisa and Laith with all his heart.  I remember when you asked him who he was going to marry, the answer was always his mom.
Our camping trips were always brighter due to Samer and Laith.  The special guitar Samer played one morning in the tent was hilarious. He will never be forgotten!
Lisa and Laith,  I love you very much and hate that you have to go through this. Your faith in God will get you through this horrific time.
I believe there are angels among us and Samer is one of those precious angels.

I am so very glad I was able to meet this bright, young unforgettable kid. I pray for you Lisa, David, Laith and Cameron that your support of one another will be your strength.

Lisa, reading through all these posts that others have posted, paints such a beautiful picture of Samer. I read over and over things like... Kind, loving, cared about others, loved God, funny, etc.. Sounds like such an awesome young man!! Focus on all that and cherish the sweet memories. We are praying for you guys continuously... Love you!

Samer, you will be missed. You were a great friend. We bonded over church and you were on my soccer team. You were so good at soccer, and you and Brenden used to make silly jokes that made us all laugh. I remember your first day at choice, and ever since then you have been family. Hey, sorry if this is a bit late. Samer is a person that the kids respected and slightly feared in a jokingly way, yeah he is a lot like batman, or a superhero in general. Rest In Power man!

I am truly lost for words.I spent a couple years with him in the RA as an RA leader. such a sweet kind funny and respectful young man. a true Son of God. my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family through this tough time.

My sweet nephew Samer, I love you so much and I know you are safe in the arms of Jesus. You are not gone, you surround us everyday in some way. As you laugh, play, worship in heaven we on earth celebrate your life daily. One day we will see you again.

Samer was an amazing boy. Just from seeing him around the hall way in church. He always had a very handsome smile on his face. His sweet soft voice touched so many lives. Samer was in my homeroom this year at Kirby Smith. I didn't know him that well but, I have fond memories about us debating over which Super hero was better. Surprisingly enough he picked Batman. Rest In Peace Samer. You are missed and I'll never forget you.

I did not personally know Samer, but the congregation at Festival By the Sea prayed for his family and those who know him. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.

Have you ever felt so close but yet so far? This is how I feel towards Samer, I met Samer at church when my friend Shaylen first invited me, I never knew anything about him but just looking at him told me that he was a great person, a person that you don't normally see in this world, many people get hurt in this world cause we don't have many people like Samer, Samer is the type of person that would ask you if you're ok even if you've had a good day, he would take care a problem when you can't, Samer is a real man, a gentleman, me and Samer never really talked but we connected through one way, and that way was through our passion of God, I pray for the family of Samer and I pray to make sure that Jesus leads him down the right paths in heaven and cares for him the same way he would treat everyone, I hope you rest in peace Samer. We all love you so much.

I rode the afternoon bus with Samer ever since last year in seventh grade. He was always a positive force in our lives, and I never heard him say anything negative to anyone else. I remember so many times where I would collapse into one of the seats on the bus after a long day, where I felt really down and just generally sad, and Samer would come over and ask if I was okay. Even if I brushed it off with a quick "yeah", he would assure me he was there if I needed to talk. I never told him how much I appreciated that. I'll miss his constant laughter and his insane music taste that we all laughed about, and my prayers are with all of those who miss that smiling face as well.

Samer truly meant a lot to me.  He was a great friend of mine, and we were always in the same classes together.  I cannot understand all of the pain that everyone must be feeling. I am filled with great sadness and miss him very much.  I will always love and respect you Samer,  dead or alive,  and I most definitely will love and respect your family.  Goodbye Samer,  and I hope that maybe....maybe,  I may see you in heaven as well.  I am sorry for your loss Furra family.  He was funny, intelligent, and loved to  help people. He stood up for himself and what he believed in. He was respectful and would help me when I didn't understand something. Thank you, thank you, thank you Samer... It is so hard to believe that Sam is no longer with us.   He was always a great young man, with a great spirit.  He will be very much missed by all. My Love and prayers go out to Lisa and Latham and family.

When I first met Samer, I immediately respected him because he was so intelligent and could make his arguments so well.  But over the months that I knew him in our small group, I grew to respect him even more because of the many times where he chose NOT to argue, preferring to laugh things off or show love to his peers (something I would have never had the maturity to do at his age).  My memories of Samer will always be sitting around a campfire telling riddles and jokes, messing with magnetic poetry on my fridge, and --as previously stated-- seeing him back down from a fight and show patience instead.  He was a great guy who had a powerful effect on so many in our ministry, and from what I hear, he might have also been Batman.  We miss you, Samer, but we know you're at peace now.

We grieve immensely for this kind and sweet boy we barely knew.  We met him briefly at the family reunion and were impressed how respectful he was.  We will continue praying for him and all who were close to him.

Why?  This is a tragedy for the community.  It is heart breaking and surreal to see such a precious 13 year old life cut short.  Samer has been a reserved, polite and intelligent young man that will be missed very much.  Blayne will miss his Sunday School best buddy and the laughs and games you shared together in the youth group.  We will miss Wednesday night dinners and watching you excel in school and graduating (probably with honors).  The boys missed you last night beating them in foosball...Your life mattered to us.  Our prayer is that you are running around happily in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where there is no pain or suffering.

I knew Samer all the way through middle school. I was in his class in 6th grade, and I am again this year. I am glad I had the chance to know him, as he was a good friend. He will be missed by many.
