JONES, Sara (Sally) – Funeral Services for Sally Jones will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach. The family will receive friends beginning at noon and a reception will follow the service.
Sally grew up in South Carolina on a small family farm. It was there that she developed a deep affection for animals. After graduating from Hickory Tavern High School, she moved to Spartanburg, S. C. Eventually, Sally moved to Pensacola and never left Florida again. It was in Jacksonville that she met Bill through mutual friends and they married in 1992 and would have celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary in December.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Bill; her brothers Michael Davis and Thomas Lynch; and her sisters Wylynda Kitchens and Gladys Jones. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
