Sarah "Lacey" Lucas, age 39, of Atlantic Beach, FL, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021. She was born in Rocky Mount, NC on July 30, 1981. Lacey graduated from Sandalwood High School. She was engaged to Joey DeGrove, son of Ronald and Marie DeGrove of Mayport, FL.
Lacey had a career working with handicapped children at Neptune Beach Elementary School in Neptune Beach. She had a passion for her family, the beach, her friends and her Joey!
Preceded in death by her sister, Liz, Lacey is survived by her parents, Pat and Brock Lucas and sister, Daisy.
A celebration of Lacey's life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL. A reception at the funeral home will immediately follow.
