

Theresa P. Peck, 85, of Jacksonville, FL and former long-time resident of Poughkeepsie, NY passed peacefully from this life on 08/24/2012 at the home of her daughter Paula A. Murasso-Courchaine, Jacksonville, FL, after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s-Dementia and heart disease.
Born March 10, 1927 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose McGlauflin Harding, and was preceded in death by 3 sisters, a brother and her beloved 2nd husband, Reese A. Peck.
Retiring from St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY in 1989, gave Terry the freedom to pursue her love of square dancing in full costumes, cross-country RV traveling, camping, eating out, reading, gardening, and shopping (clothes and jewelry preferred)!
She is survived by her daughter Paula Murasso-Courchaine (Ron), Jacksonville, FL; sons John A Murasso, Jr., Poughkeepsie, NY and Daniel F. Murasso, Chattanooga, TN; granddaughters Lisa Murasso Burnett (Randall), Clinton Corners, NY, Nicole Murasso Tinney (Kris) Rossville, GA, Megan Murasso, Chattanooga, TN, Ronda Courchaine Truhlar (Jeff), Jacksonville Beach, FL, Debbie Courcahine Marino (Lee), Poughkeepsie, NY, grandson William Courchaine (Paula), Pleasant Valley, NY; 15 great-grandchildren; 15 nieces and nephews and 3 step-children and their families.
Her beloved extended families were very important to her…including first husband John A. Murasso, Sr., his 2nd wife of 38 years, Nancy, and her son Barry Alden Clark; former sister and brother-in-law Kathleen and Louie Murasso, Sr.—a beautiful family, good friends and fond memories.
A celebration of her life will be held in Jacksonville, FL, and graveside services will be held in the village of Highland, NY – both at the convenience of the family.
