

Born in New York on July 31, 1923, he resided in Atlantic Beach for 21 years.
Bill was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army Air Corp and was a member of the Elks Lodge 221. He had been an active member of the Exchange Club of the Jacksonville Beaches for several years.
Bill enjoyed a happy and busy life travelling, dancing and going on cruises.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 23 years, Sheila; his children William (Mary) Nevins, Michael (Carol) Nevins, Patricia (Peter) Lacombe, Maureen (Thomas) Oliver, and James (Marcio) Nevins; his step-children Leo (Anne Calcagno) Fitzpatrick, Kevin (Christine) Fitzpatrick, Paul (Elizabeth) Fitzpatrick; seven grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
Bill will be truly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
The family will receive friends from 3-4pm, Saturday, January 19 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach. Bill’s service will follow immediately after at 4pm, also at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home in Jacksonville Beach.
