

Zoila T. Lopez, 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 16, 2013 in her home. Zoila was born June 22, 1945 in San Pedro Sula, Hondoras CA to her mother, Serafina Tabora Dubon. She immigrated to the United States in 1966. Zoila lived in New Orleans, LA for 20 years, before moving to Jacksonville, FL in 1986. She worked as a seamstress before working at Walmart as a sales associate. Zoila will always be remembered for raising her 4 children and 2 granddaughters single-handedly, for her persistence and always putting others’ needs before her own.
She is survived by her children, Olga Yanira Davis, Celia M. VanCamp, Xiomara Lopez and Lizeth Lopez; grandchildren Cristina F. Bautista, Krysten Morgan Davis, Zachary T. Ficklin, Taylor N. Davis, Desiree Marie Garcia, Victoria Selena Garcia and Cameron P. Lopez; siblings Olga Hermida, Jaime Tabora, Oscar Tabora and Judith Brocato; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3-4pm Saturday, December 21 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. Zoila’s celebration of life will follow directly after her viewing at 4pm.
