Agnes Rachel Newberry

Agnes was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Memaw. She was an excellent cook. She loved to garden, watch birds, crochet and scrapbook. She was a blessing to everyone around her and loved her family whole heartedly.

Agnes is survived by her husband of sixty- six years, William Newberry. Her two daughters, Patti(Tim) Bomgardner, Chris (Jeff) Stafford, 4 Grandchildren, James (Jessica) Cochran, Ryan (Chanda) Stafford, Amanda (Rick) Graves, Allen Stafford. 6 Great Granchildren, Chandler, Zowie, Gideon, J.R., Matthew and Kendall. She is also survived by two of her brothers Andre Sutour and Michel Sutour. She is preceded by her father and Mother, Marcel and Annette Sutour, her older brother Yvone Sutour and younger sister Annie Sutour. She was a beloved member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida.

A visitation for Agnes will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 20, 2024 starting at 11:00 AM at 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A committal service will follow at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225.
