F. Alice J. Lucas, 84 of Orange Park passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 surrounded by her loved ones. Alice is precededin death by her parents, Hershel Johnson, and Ide Stewart Johnson, and her son, Gary Lucas. She is survived by her daughters; Alice F. Lucas and Carolyn Joyce; 4 grandchildren; Raymond Watkins, Mahala Waugh, Gary Lucas, Jr., and Amy Joyce, and 8 great-grandchildren. Alice enjoyed ballroom dancing and was a member of the American Ballroom Dance Contemporary Dance Association of Jax Inc. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, and sang in the church choir. Alice will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and determining spirit. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home. Interment will follow services in Riverside Memorial Park of Jacksonville, FL.
