Alice Tricia Rand

Alice Tricia Rand, 92 passed away on Tuesday January 25, 2022. She was born on June 25, 1929 to Antonio and Mary (Couto) Maria in Peabody, Massachusetts. She lived in Jacksonville for the last 52 years.

Alice enjoyed crocheting blankets for her family and friends. She loved to host dinners for family and friends cooking many of her famous Portuguese meals and homemade desserts. Prior to her husband’s death, they enjoyed spending their summers camping with friends in Pennsylvania.

Alice is predeceased by her husband John Rand III; daughter Donna Weldon; son John Rand IV; and son in law Butch Weldon.

Those that survive her include grandsons John Rand V (Christine), John Weldon (Missy), Michael Rand and mother Sheryl Rand; granddaughter Allison Hayes (Chris); great-grandchildren Carissa Rand (Garrett), John Rand,VI, Alyssa Hayes, Corey Hayes, Elena Rand, Amber Richter, Brandy Henderson (Jordan); great great grandsons Aaron, Corbin, & Cade; and special little buddy, Boston.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills, 850 St. John's Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
