

James Andrew “Andy” Quattlebaum, 56, of Jacksonville went to be with Our Lord on February 12, 2017 at Regents Park Nursing Home. Andy was born on April 14, 1960 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and moved to Jacksonville at the age of seven. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Adron Quattlebaum and Carrie Evelyn Quattlebaum, brother Dallas Randall Quattlebaum and sister Teresa Marie West, all of Jacksonville.
Andy was a welder by trade. His love of music sparked a creative passion for playing musical instruments, most notably the guitar. He was a caring and gentle soul with an unparalleled love and compassion for others. His zest for life, tender personality and quick-witted humor is forever engrained in the hearts and minds of those who loved him most. He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his sister, Gwendolyn Ollie of Panama City, his sons Tyler Quattlebaum, Ryan Quattlebaum, and Cody Quattlebaum of Jacksonville, two grandchildren, three nephews and one niece.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 15th at 1pm at Hardage-Giddens, Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. John's Bluff Road N., Jacksonville, FL.
