Ann E Pfeiffer

In addition to her husband of 62 years, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ewing Lee Wright and Robert Randal Wright.

The matriarch of the Pfeiffer family, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her five children; a daughter, Vicki Carter, and four sons: Albert “Buddy” and his wife Kim, Johnny and his wife Brenda, Mike and his wife Karen, and Dale; ten grandchildren: Kimberly, David Michael, Kelly, Erich, Rebecca, Andrew, Ginny, Josh, Jordan, and Julie; nine great-grandchildren, with one more great granddaughter on the way; and one great-great grandson; all of Jacksonville.

An accomplished seamstress and avid crafter, Mrs. Pfeiffer enjoyed a myriad of hobbies throughout her long life. As a testament to her love of family, her favorite pastime was genealogy, tracing the Pfeiffer and Wright family histories.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 26 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held, Sunday, February 27, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park. Pallbearers are grandsons, Erich, Josh and Jordan Pfeiffer, and friends Marvin Ortiz, Jonathan Vinson, and Damien Smallwood.
