Mrs. Annette Edith Bachelor

She was born a yellow rose to the family from San Antonio, Texas to Elmer Steger and

Zola Alma Caulkins Steger.

She was so loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her brother John Edwin Steger.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Grover (Cooter) Bachelor, son Larry Bachelor (Susan), daughter Susan Griffis (Bob), grandchildren Melissa Schulz, Matthew Bachelor, Andrew Bachelor and Jared Griffis; two great-grandchildren Stephanie and Abigail Schulz; sisters Estelline McCain, Laurine Stevens and Maureen Clark; brothers J. Elby Steger (Barbara); Jerry Steger; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, June 6, 2011. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 7, 2011 all located at Town and Country Funeral Home7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida 32205.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all her neighbors and family members who gave so much loving support and to the dedicated staff at Community Hospice for their outstanding care.
