

Barbara Jean Stump was Born August 4th, 1936, to Warren Preston and Gladys Zona Cummons. She was the oldest of five Children. Born in St. Clair Shores Michigan, lived in Ohio where she married Thomas L. Stump and shortly there after had two daughters Gale Lynn Stump and Alda Marie Smith. Then they moved to Jacksonville, Florida.
She retired from Maxwell House Coffee over 25 years ago with 30 years of service. She was an avid bowler with 10 years bowling on a league in Orange Park till the age of 85. She also enjoyed playing weekly card games with friends and attended the Baldwin and Maxville Seniors group. She attended the Baldwin Church of God.
She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 7th, 2025. She was surrounded by her family and Loved ones. She was 89 years young.
She is preceded in death by her Parents Warren and Gladys Cummons. Her brother Paul Cummons, her sisters Carol Lockard and Louella Talent.
Survived by three Daughters Gale Stump, Alda Smith (Robert Smith) and Gail Croft (adopted)
Survived by one Brother Charles Cummons of Ohio.
Grandchildren: Debbie Filzen, William Smith (Angie Smith), and Katie Coulliette (Christopher Coulliette)
Great Grandchildren: Weston Smith, Luke Coulliette , Savanna Smith, Hannah Coulliette and Charlotte Smith
