Beatrice Mary (Rahaim) Hughes passed away on February 8, 2021 after a month long battle with illness. She lived a happy and successful 97 years.

Beatrice graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and worked as a secretary for most of her life. She retired from the Independent Life Insurance Company as a personal secretary. After that, she worked at the Florida Community College at Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Public Library, and the Census Bureau. She took pride in her work and was an exemplary employee.
