Bernice Ann Wilson

Bernice Ann Wilson, age 78 of Macclenney, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 22, 2018; surrounded by loved ones. She was born to the late Harley Browning and Gertrude Brouhton Browning of Lily KY on October 9, 1939.

Her faith in God, family and friends were Bernice’s passion and delight. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, playing cards and caring for her children and grand children. She was an honest and loving, mother, sister, aunt and friend to those blessed to know her. Her smile, laugh, sense of humor and gentleness were contagious.

Bernice is survived by her seven children James Wilson Junior of Jasper TN, Rita Hutton (Steve) of Jacksonville, FL, Tammy Metcalf (Howard) of Dunlap, TN, Dinah Ott (Granville) of Signal Mtn. TN, Angela Holloman (Tony) of Glen St.Mary, FL, Lisa Bailey (Steve) of Tazwell, TN and Jennifer Wilson of Jacksonville, FL. In addition to 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and numerous loved ones. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 26 from 1:30 - 2:00 pm, funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm.
