Betty "Joeann" Hall Oehler

Joeann, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, also known as Nanny, was a force of nature. She loved life. An artist, daughter, sister, wife, mother, stepmother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, coworker and friend; she embraced it all.

The holidays were special. She always made it a magical time for the family.

Romantic by nature, she was fun loving, adventurous, loved the outdoors and usually the center of attention wherever she went. Her fur babies held a special place in her heart as well. She loved her dogs, cats, hamsters and all God’s creatures. There was never enough time to experience all she wanted to do.

Joeann is preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Corinne Rhoden; two husbands, Jesse Hall Sr and Bob Oehler; one brother, Bobby Rhoden; one sister, Shirley Hicks; two sister in laws, Jane Rhoden and Mary Jane Laffredo; two son in laws, Worth Knight and Ray Lamm; three grandchildren, Nicole Hall, Ronnie Allen Jr, and Anthony Watkins.

She is survived by her seven children; Two sons, Jesse Hall (Angela), Randall Hall; five daughters, Jenny Praser (Don), Lynn Knight, Wrenn Allen, Cindy Reherman (Jim) and Kathy Lamm; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous others.

A visitation for Betty will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
