Born in 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Passed away Saturday 01/25/2020 in Crystal River, Florida at age 76.
Beverly was the 2nd child of 6 and oldest daughter of Evelyn & Adolphus Hartley late of Jacksonville, Florida. She spent her childhood in the beautiful area of Mandarin and Plummers Cove, which was much less developed at the time. She often told stories of her childhood adventures in the woods of Mandarin. The family moved to the south side of Jacksonville in the mid 1950's where Beverly attended Englewood High School.
She married young and had 5 children. After a 20 year marriage, Beverly was divorced. In 1983, Beverly met and fell in love with Michael Dahl. The married in 1984 and with his son, their 6 children. The two of them enjoyed their 35 year marriage and their many grandchildren. Beverly enjoyed fishing, the beach, and trips to Biloxi. She was a very good dancer and liked a variety of music. She was also an avid reader and football fanatic. She and Mike settled in Crystal River after his retirement, where she spent the remainder of her life.
Beverly was proceeded in death by her parents Evelyn & Adolphus F. Hartley. Her brothers; David R. Hartley, Adolphus F. Hartley Jr. (Phil), and W. L. Hartley and sister Harriet Holland.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Michael Dahl. Children; Jackie Umland, Clay (Robbin) Osteen, Ross (Melinda) Osteen, Robin (Joey) Gay, and Judd (Jennifer) Osteen; her step son Ryan Dahl, sister Phyllis (Mac) McDuffie 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. And many nieces and nephews. All of whom she loved dearly.
