Mother loved meeting people and spent many years as a waitress, mostly with the Famous Amos Co.
She was her happiest outdoors, mostly planting or potting in her yard or greenhouse. Most any plant would do, but her great love was rare ferns. She enjoyed all her many years with the NE Florida Fern Society and showing plants at the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair. Mom was an animal lover, loved fishing, and never shied away from hard work. She loved God, her family and her life, even though in the last few years her health began to fail.
Several anxiously await her arrival. Among those are her husband, Robert (Bob) Harrison, and her mom and dad, Nora Lee and George Warren.
Mom leaves behind and loves dearly, a sister, Sarah Hartwick, a brother, George Warren, Jr. (Florence), several nieces and nephews, two sons, Charles A. Miller (Joan), Carroll R. Miller (Rosie), a daughter, Jackie Gail Taccolini (Jerry), and several Grand and Great Grandchildren.
Our precious Mom, Blonnie W. Harrison, will be carried to her resting place in the loving, strong arms of her Grand and Great Grandsons.
Viewing will be at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018. Services will begin at 2 p.m., with Chaplain Tim McDaniel officiating at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd.
