Bobbie G. Boyd (Luke), 84 of Jacksonville, FL passed away December 31, 2020. Bobbie Ann Greene was born in Columbus, MS on August 31, 1936 to William and Gena Lynn Greene. She graduated from high school and then attended Jacksonville University, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.
She married Lowell B. Boyd, Sr. in 1955 and then married Everett Luke in 1998. Bobbie worked at Shand’s and St. Vincent’s Hospital as a Registered Nurse for years. She was a member of West Jacksonville Advent Christian Church and had a passion for playing cards and square dancing.
She is survived by her children Jeanna Boyd Googe, Lowell B. Boyd, Jr. and Estelle Larain Boyd; grandchildren Jason Bennett, Cassidy Boyd, Thomas Boyd, Jared Boyd, Elizabeth Boyd Roberts; great-grandchildren Austin, Kayson, Kasely and Karson and sister Ailine Booth.
A graveside service will be held at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205 on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 3:00 PM.
