Bud was an extremely gifted track sprinter and half back in high school. Not just fast but an amazing broken field football player. It was always a pleasure to compete with him in track meets for AJHS. He was whipsmart and thoughtful.

Pappa Bud.... You will be missed by so many .... You always have such
a wonderful smile that was contagious to everyone... I remember going to bed hearing
you singing and playing music. And when we had Dinner, you always made sure we had
what you called Dinner music on.... I loved going to the beach fishing with you... You thought me how to drive a woodsbuggy all though Ocala national forest..... I loved eating your moon over Miami for
breakfast.. You were a amazing man... I'll see you soon. Tell Momma I said Hello.

My grandpa was a certified badass. He was an artist, an electrician, a fisherman. He enjoyed hunting, rode a Harley, and was an incredibly talented musician. He played every string instrument out there, but was an especially good guitar player (he even had an entire shed dedicated to restoring old acoustics). He gave me my first (and only) guitar—a “Big Baby”—which I never play (sorry, Pappa). 🤦🏻‍♀️ But, he brought music into our house, along with love, and the most contagious laugh. Man, that laugh.... it would brighten up a room. You wouldn’t even know what you were laughing at, but if Grandpa was laughing... so were you.

In his later years, he wasn’t in the best health. I am glad that he is now at peace, and with Jesus.

We all will miss you terribly, Pappa Bud. Love you.
