Camilla (Kim) Paulette Crawshaw passed away November 10, 2022, at her home in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Lake Forest, Illinois on April 2, 1945. She grew up in Libertyville, Illinois and lived in many places including Chicago, Las Vegas, and Washington DC. Before moving to Palm Bay, Florida in 1989, Kim lived in Waterford, Connecticut. She has lived in Jacksonville, Florida since 1999. In every community she lived in she was involved, including acting as Treasurer for St James Episcopal Church in New London, Connecticut, as well as working with several non-profits in Florida.
Kim graduated high school from Ferry Hall Boarding School in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Her professional schooling included secretarial school, attending Southern Methodist University, and obtaining a real estate license. Her career ranged from executive assistant, marketing professional, mortgage processor, bookkeeper, and real estate/media sales. Companies that she worked for early on included AT&T, various Las Vegas resorts, several different media companies, as well as multiple small businesses.
Later, along with her husband Reid, she owned several businesses including marketing, leasing, and a packaging and shipping retail company. In her most recent working years, she was a bookkeeper for several non-profit organizations such as Jewish Family and Community Services in Jacksonville, Florida.
Kim is survived by her husband of 45 years, W. Reid Crawshaw, her son, Paul Crawshaw (Charlene), as well as her 5 grandchildren, Phebe Crawshaw, Elizabeth Crawshaw, Cole McClure, Kathryn Crawshaw, and Isabel Crawshaw, and Joyce Standish her sister.
A visitation for Camilla will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225, followed by a celebration of her life from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM officiated by the retired Rev. Richard Roos.
