Carl Harlee Clemons Sr.

Carl Harlee Clemons Sr. "Cotton", 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 24, 2017. He was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather (Papaw). Carl was a lifelong native of Jacksonville, FL. He was a graduate of Lee High School class of 1945, a World War II veteran, and a retired train engineer from CSX after 42 years of service. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years (Erroll Baacke Clemons, February 11, 2009); three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his four children, Erroll Carlene Kahre (James), Ressa Rodgers (John), Lindy Stevens (Rob), Carl Harlee Clemons Jr. (Carla), twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren one brother and one sister. The family will receive friends Friday, July 28, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at West Jacksonville Advent Christian Church at 8376 Normandy Blvd. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Church. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
