Carl A. Miehl, 83, passed away December 18, 2011. A native of Chicago, IL, he had been a resident of Jacksonville since the early 1930’s. He served in the U S Navy and retired after 26 years as a dedicated employee of Huckins Yacht Corp.
He also was a member of the Murray Hill Presbyterian Church.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, June Miehl; a son, Tony Miehl (Melody); daughters, Ann Cormier (Phil) and Pat Baker (Steve); 5 grandchildren, Todd Conley, Melissa Parr, Daniel Miehl, Carrie Miller, and Jeff Cormier 5 great-grandchildren, Michael and Chris Parr, Lorna Conley, and Tiffany and Ashley Miller.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at 1:00 PM, at Town and Country Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Marshall Drew officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
