Dear Newsome Family ,
Carl was one of the best people I ever knew in Jacksonville while working in the shipyard alongside Carl on a daily basis . He brought life to every situation and a fun atmosphere to any of the challenges we faced each day. The way that he joked and smiled was infectious and he could make you feel welcomed into the group of guys even when you felt like a complete outsider . My time with Carl was short lived as I moved away from the job and on to bigger things , but the time spent knowing him will forever be something that I will NEVER forget . Carl was one of my only true work friends when I was there and taught me a way of shutting of the worries and chaos going on around me . Carl was a leader that cared about the next man just as much as he cared about himself , and I will forever be grateful for god putting Carl in my life and getting to know him . 

Carl Thank you for always being my friend I loved you like a brother you will always be remembered by myself and everyone else that you touched in so many ways ,

We are so sorry to hear that you lost your brother.  He was so young; it seems double the tragedy and we can personally identify with that. We had the following verse put on Chris's grave maker, "For God said, Light shall shine out of darkness..." II Cor. 4:6
We know Buddy's light will continue to shine as you dwell on the many fond memories you have of him.

Dear Justin and Newsome family. I am saddened to hear about your fathers passing. Justin I want you to stay strong and remember all the people that care about you, including your 8th grade math teacher, Mr. Holt. The future will be tougher for you, especially the next year as you transition into high school. I want you to continue to read and count your blessings. You will always be remembered by me and all your seaside family. You are a special young man. Know you can always visit me for advice or to lend an ear if something is bothering you. I’m going to miss this guy more than anything , one my best friends . I’ll never forget all the laughs we had , the 12 hour beach fishing nights , the beers at ginger’s , and talks about everything from rigging to life in general.. I’ll never forget you bro!

I didnt know you too well, only met you once but the stories I've heard and will hear are all about how much your family loved you. We may never know why God decided to call you home early, maybe your parents needed you but I know you'll be sorely missed here. Rest easy, we will see you again one day soon.

Buddy, I have some incredible memories with you. I met you when you were 18 and I so glad that  I had the honor of calling you a brother. We had some good times fishing and getting in trouble together! I loved your mischievous grin and how you always had a smile and a funny story for everyone. Marrying into your family was the best decision I ever made. I know your Mom and Dad were proud of you, as am I. Your legacy will live on through your son Justin. You passed so many great values in to him. You were an amazing Dad, and I can’t wait to see what that young man accomplishes in his life. Love you brother. Rest easy.
