Carole Sue Schnorr

Sue is survived by her children Donna Schnorr, Laura Schnorr Warwin (Jeff), Marc Schnorr (MaryAnn), Doug Schnorr (Vicki); Howard Starr, her partner and best friend of 31 years; grandchildren Philip Schnorr, Courtney Studard, Brittany Schnorr, Thomas Schnorr, Keegan Warwin, Brogan Warwin, Shannon Schnorr-Carns; great-grandchild, Zeph Studard; and sister, Lynda Eddy (Ron); along with many more family and friends.

Sue was born on July 22, 1937 in Jacksonville, FL to William “Buster” Marconi and Helen Holder Vales. She grew up in Jacksonville and attended Bishop Kenny High School, class of 1955 where she was Homecoming Queen and received numerous academic accolades. She was open minded and had a generous spirit and offered unconditional love to everyone she knew. Throughout her life, Sue never met a stranger, and she opened her heart and home to numerous friends to whom she provided love and guidance. She loved cats and part of her morning routine was feeding her furry friends. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren at the Conch house in St Augustine and the Sea Horse Hotel in Neptune Beach. She will be greatly missed, however, the impact she had on her extended, blended family will live on forever. A memorial service will be held at 6PM, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Hardage-Giddens, Chapel Hills, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N. Flowers are welcome, however, donations may also be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
