Carolyn began life in Miami, Florida and after high school moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she spent her entire adult life. She enjoyed the great outdoors. Her best times were spent fishing, camping, and attending mud truck competitions.
Carolyn served in the Department of Children and Family Services for 35 years. She had a loving compassionate heart full of empathy for anyone she met. She loved being outdoors and tending to her flowers along with bird watching from the porch. Carolyn was a strong and passionate soul who fought hard till the very end.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Steven W Hall of 29 years, children; Jennifer (Russell) Treat and James (Shelaine) Cooksey, grandchildren; Anthony (Makayla) Hall, Shyan (Noah) Sasser, Colton Cooksey, Haven Cooksey and Elizabeth Treat, along with beautiful great grandchildren Izaac, Easton and Lily, her 2 sisters and many fabulous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held at Riverside Event Pavilion, 1373 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, at 3:00 pm.
