Charlene Deanna Sams

Charlene was a banker with Florida National Bank and Five Points Guaranty Bank. She was one of the bank officers to open Edgewood Bank, and Assistant Vice President of Southeast Bank. Later, she became a certified mastectomy bra fitter and insurance claim specialist for Bryant's Bloomers, Inc. Charlene was an Elder of Murray Hill Presbyterian Church serving in many capacities. A few years ago, she was awarded the Life Time Membership Presbyterian Women of the Church. Charlene was an avid genealogist and enjoyed recovering family history. Charlene enjoyed making crafts, pencil coloring, and liked collecting cat and little pigs figurines.

Predeceased by her parents Morris F and Helen E Sams and sister Marsha Sue Sams. Survived by her sister, Carol S. Bryant (Larry), Nephew Larry Fred Bryant, Jr., niece Michelle Lynn Bryant Salinas (Mike), many cousins, and her beloved cat Mikey. She will miss her wonderful neighbor and friend Lynne Robson who unconditionally helped her in so many ways. Graveside services will be held March 4th at 11.00 am at Riverside Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Sam Bennett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Murray Hill Presbyterian Church in her honor will be appreciated.
