Charles Allen Armstrong, 71, of Jacksonville Florida passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014. He was born September 11, 1942 in Madison, Florida to Clarence Chester and Mary (Brown) Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of many years Bonnie Armstrong and step son Buddy Helton. Charles was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church. Survivors include sons Wilburn “Will” Armstrong (Kathyn) and Leslie “Les” Armstrong (Honor Nelson); step son Kenny Helton (Karen); sister Cecelia Welch; granddaughters Racquel, Olivia and Katelyn; close friends Wilton and Dallas Bowers.
