Charles Brode was born and raised on the family farm in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. He grew up with a great passion for the outdoors, athletics and music. He was a dare devil in his younger years, cliff diving, scuba diving, high rope acrobatics and many other daring activities. Captain Chuck retired from the US Air Force and went on to teach school for many years.
After a long battle with health problems and dementia he went to be with the Lord July 19, 2020.
He is survived by three children Tim, Shelly and Karyn; two grandchildren Chris and Sarah; and step-children Sonny, Debbie and David. He is also survived by his sister Doris; nieces Kathy and Nancy and nephew Gary.
