Charles Clay Brunson

Charles Clay Brunson, age 63, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Charles was born on October 29, 1960 in Jacksonville, FL to Arthur J. Brunson and Violet Suarez. Charles proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force. He married Anne Kreiger on November 4, 2012. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, and his interest included helping doing work around the church.

Charles is survived by his wife, Anne Kreiger; daughters Katrina Novalan and Rebecca Novalan; one son Charles Brunson; siblings Paul, Marty, Arthur, and Edith; nine grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his brother Frank Brunson and his parents Arthur John Brunson, Sr. and Violet Vivian Suarez.

A receiving of family and friends for Charles will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 7673 Collins Road, Jacksonville, FL 32244. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the church. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Guests are asked to meet in Lane 2 for the 1:00 PM committal service at the national cemetery.
