Christopher David Morgan was born in Jacksonville FL on August 9, 1968 and died at home on Saturday, October 3, 2020. He was 52 years old. He was married to Ivy Holbrook Morgan on January 2, 1999. Chris had a career in welding/fitting/fabrication and worked for Thompson Repair, Less Handling, and other Jacksonville companies. He loved his family, especially his young grandchildren and their mother. He loved the outdoors, spending many happy times at the Springs, grilling chicken and steak with mushrooms, working on cars, playing with his dogs, hanging out with friends, collecting various things and spending money, especially on a quality name brand. Chris was a big man who lived a big life. He was a kind and considerate person, who loved deeply. He loved children and older people and hated for anyone to have their feelings hurt. He never met a stranger, and always made sure that those he loved knew how much he cared.

He is survived by his wife, Ivy Holbrook Morgan, his brother, James Daniel Morgan, Jr., daughters Amanda Lynn Morgan Martin and Brandie Lea Anderson, grandchildren Wyatt James Martin, Sawyer Wayne Martin, Kinsley Rene Martin, and Piper Kay Gatlin (In utero), stepchildren Allison Nicole Bieniecki, Nicholas Ryan Cannady and Amy Howard Manchester, 3 nephews and a niece, cherished best friend Spence Goodwin, and favorite galpal Theresa Welsch.

He was preceded in death by his parents Linda Elaine Studstill and James Daniel Morgan, Sr., and his beloved uncle, David Marc Morgan.

Chris, you will be missed for your wacky sense of humor and your kindness. As sad as we are for ourselves, we are glad that you are no longer in pain.
You will not be forgotten!
