Clarence "Cass" Casterlin, 90, passed away peacefully on April 9 in Jacksonville, FL. Cass was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a devout Catholic and long-time member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved life, was a very happy person, and loved caring for others. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others smile.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, of 67 years, Frances "Dolly", his daughter, Linda Dixon, his granddaughter, Christine Dixon, and two nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd N, 32225. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11665 Fort Caroline Road, 32225. Interment will take place at 1:30pm on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, 32218.

HARDAGE-GIDDENS CHAPEL HILLS, 850 Saint Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225, is serving the family.
