Cliffton "Lain" Edwards

Mr. Edwards was born on 27th of June, 1964 in Columbia, South Carolina to Yvonne and Robert Edwards Sr.

Lain attended Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida and grew up on the Westside.

He was currently employed by Dunmar Group Inc. where he held position as superintendent. His work was his passion in which he did with the upmost quality in everything he touched. Years prior to working at Dunmar Group Inc., Lain obtained his CBC license and established his own business as “Edwards Quality Construction.”

Preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Blair and his father, Robert Lee Edwards Sr. He is survived by his brother, Robert Lee Edwards Jr. and wife Sherry Lynn Edwards of Nutter Fort, West Virginia, and Steve Blair of Jacksonville, Florida, also remaining good friends over the years with ex-wife, Vicki Dee Roebuck of Middleburg, Florida.

Lain will be loved and missed dearly not only by his family and friends but also his work family. He will forever be in our hearts as he has touch each and every one of our lives.

His funeral service and celebration of life will be held at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32205 on Saturday June 27, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
