Constantino Fabelina Rodriguez (aka Dino and Tito Ike) was born on March 11, 1946, in San Marcelino, Philippines, to Vicente Rodriguez and Rosario Fabelina. He spent his formative years and childhood surrounded by his loving family, who held a strong bond, and instilled values and a fierce work ethic that he would carry with him as he entered the next phase of his life, courageously pursuing a life in America in the late 60’s, joining the Navy. He served 20+ years, and not only gained recognition and awards for his skills and intelligence but also for his extraordinary leadership and camaraderie. Upon retiring from the Navy as a Chief, he continued to work as an accomplished machinist with a team that, for many years, would become a family and staple of friendship in his life, even following his retirement.
He was a strong, kind, and compassionate man who was devoted to family first, loved unconditionally, and extended his kindness to every person he met, leaving an unforgettable imprint. He had a passion for patriotism, weaponry, carpentry, world history, photography, cars, and gardening, which he spent a lot of his free time on in his later years. He loved to laugh and make jokes, cook, spend time with family, meet with his weekly friend group, and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He will be dearly missed and remembered by all who loved him. His memory, legacy, and spirit will live on.
He is survived by his son, Vincent John Rodriguez (Becky Rodriguez), his daughter Francesca Rodriguez, grandchildren (Alexandria, Evan, David, Isabella, Lillian), and his loving siblings, Juanito Rodriguez, Dolores Rodriguez-Fabunan, Miguel Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Cecelia Rodriguez, and Corazon Rodriguez-Ayala. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vicente Rodriguez and Rosario Fabelina- Rodriguez, his wife, Helen Loretta Rodriguez, and his sister, Amelia Rodriguez-Fernando.
