Cynthia Ann Thornton, age 40, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. Cynthia was born June 13, 1972 in Jacksonville, Florida to Charles Stanley and Debra Juanita (Bodway) Martin. Cynthia enjoyed the countryside and that is why she and her husband purchased the small farm in Middleburg in 2000 where she spent many hours with her animals. She was a fan of the Florida Gators. Cynthia was a member of South Middleburg Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Martin. Survivors include loving husband of 18 years Hank Thornton; her caring mother Debra J. Martin; two daughters Tiffany Martin and Amber Hall; one brother Dale Martin(Rachael) two granddaughters Brandy Hall and Christina Thomas; two nieces Danielle Martin and Brianna Martin. Family will receive friends and family on Sunday November 25, 2012 from 12:00 – 8:00 pm at Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 26, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Delton Kilpatrick. Interment will at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, FL.
