Dan grew up in Russell Springs, KY, served in the US Air Force and remained a confirmed bachelor until age 41. That is when he met Katheryn Elizabeth Rogers. Nine weeks later they were married. Lizzie was the love of his life!
Lizzie preceded Dan in death in 2012. He missed her dearly. He is survived by his first cousin, Susan Bernard Oahler (Paul), Orange Park, FL and many second and third cousins. He was loved, especially by his caregivers. Dan told each one, "I am so blest to have you in my life!"
