David A. Mills

David A. Mills, 80, passed away Friday July 26, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. David was born June 5, 1933 to Bryon E. and Myrtle A. (Hogan) Mills in Jacksonville, FL. He was a printer for many years for the US government in Washington DC. David enjoyed playing golf and was a Master Mason. He was a veteran of United States Marines Corps during the Korean Conflict. David was also a member of Mandarin Presbyterian Church. David will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 14 years Sarah Mills; one son Michael David Mills; two daughters Pamela Kyvdos Gordon and Annette Kimball. Family will receive family and friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers family requested that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Research, 4237 Salisbury Road, Jacksonville, FL 32216.

David & I were school classmates for many years and he was a wonderful fellow and thank you all for taking such good care of him in these last few years and he is with the Lord now and all well, bless his heart.
