I was saddened to hear of Dee’s passing. She was a wonderful person. Her kindness, sense of humor and sweet nature will be missed. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I met Dee several years ago while working early voting.  I enjoyed her friendship and shared a lot of laughs.  She spearheaded several shipments of goodies to our servicemen and women.   She will be missed by all.


I was saddened to learn of Delores' passing.  I worked with Dee, seemingly 100 years ago, when we both worked at Prudential in the Machine Accounting Division (MAD).   While I have not seen her in many years, I have not forgotten her beautiful smile.  With it, she could light up the room.

I hope the sadness of her passing will soon be replaced by the memories of the happy times you shared with her.  She was truly a beautiful person.

May she rest in peace.

I was blessed to have known Dee for 50 years and i will always remember the fun times we had thru the years....She was a caring and special lady. 
In all the years, she never had a negative word about anyone ....always thinking the best and wanting the best for all.
I will miss her and know she is up above with the angels.
My heart goes out to her family and my prayers.

I worked with Dee at Prudential, both of us Administrator Coordinators.  In fact she helped me learn a lot of  my job.  Between her and Grace Flack they helped me a lot.  Dee, Grace and I had a lot of laughs at Pru.  I will always remember you Dee.

I loved Dee.   She and I worked together at Kirk research and also at the airport.   We had so much fun.  We  also took a trip or two together with other friends.  She even babysat for me and kept my grandchildren for me so I could go out of town for a long weekend .  She played a clown for Kyles Birthday at the daycare where he attended.   She was such a special person and will be definitely missed.   We also belonged to the same Sunday school class for years.  Norma Jean and Gail you have my sympathy but knowing she is in the arms of our Lord will help ease the pain.  Prayers for you.

My sincerest condolences to the family  in your loss of such a special family member. As I think back it’s hard for me to fathom that I knew Dee when she was in her thirties at Prudential Life Insurance.  And I interacted with her for many years during my ten years at “Momma Pru”!  After I left Pru I lost contact with her until recently. Within the last few years, I met her at an American Cancer Society Relay For Life event. I had no idea she was the sister we had been praying for at different times at Gail’s request.  What a faithful servant of the Lord!  

Whether it was at Macedonia Baptist or now at Rise Church, Dee was always sharing her love for Christ.  She was always a pleasure to be around. Dee knew her Bible, and loved to share God's Word in study groups, Sunday School, and recently the Rise Small Groups.  My family will remember Dee for her kindness, loving attitude, pure heart, and as being the backbone of the Sewing Ministry.  We will all miss her here on this earth, but we celebrate that she is now in Heaven with her Maker.

Gail, and "Sister" and the rest of Dee's family, thank you for allowing us the time with your sweet sister.  I thank God that He crossed our  paths so many, many years ago.  Dee has been a fantastic friend, leader and mentor to me.  I am so  happy to know  that she is now with Jesus and free of pain.  I look forward to the day we will all be together again.  

To the Family of Ms Dee, She was a pleasure to be a round always had a smiling face and opening loving arms to welcome you, was always a blessing for me to see her come out of her Sunday School Class with that big smile on her face like she was in heaven she always loved getting together with her friends and fellowshiping it always brought a smile to my face cause I knew I was gonna get my hug when she came by me when I was standing there greeting people at Church. There will be only one Ms. Dee and  She has earned her Wings and now is in Heaven to be with God.. What a Day that will be!!!!(that we shall all soon see)

My sweet aunt Dee, words cannot describe how much you’ll be missed. I hope that I’m half the person you were on this Earth. I know that you knew how much you meant to me and I pray that I showed it as much as I certainly intended to. I was honored to be such a big support for you this last year and am proud that you and I were so close for my entire life. Your family and friends loved and cherished you so much, but we know that we had to give you permission to go and be free, because it was your time. You’re living in paradise now, free of the pain that you fought so hard and we will miss you so much. Love you always. 

Dee, you were such a sweet and gentle soul.
I thank God for bringing you into my life and proud to call you my friend.
You have certainly earned your wings in heaven, "Well Done Dee"
You will be missed my friend.
