The family will receive friends at The Church at Suncoast on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 12:00 until service time at 1:30. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
He was born in Jacksonville on December 17th, 1992. Dillon graduated from Ridgeview High School and received an AA degree from St. Johns River State College where he had the great honor of receiving the Paul “Dee” Causey Award. He continued to further his academic career at UCF while working as a Marketing and Sales Counselor for Universal Studios in Orlando.
Dillon had a passion for spending time with family and friends while sharing stories and reminiscing. He was a huge lover of EDM, Gator Nation, wheelchair basketball with the Brooks Ballers, Megacon conventions, and all things horror.
Dillon was a hero and inspiration to many and loved by all who knew him. Dillon’s smile lit up any room he walked or “rolled” into. Dillon‘s journey in life was not the easiest as he had to overcome much adversity. Through all of the challenges and setbacks he encountered, he always maintained the most positive outlook on life. He had a fight in him that he never lost. He just KNEW that he would one day walk again and now we know that he is running in Heaven.
Dillon will be reuniting with his grandparents Paul and Gladys Pruett, Melvin Wells, John Maxwell, and Prissy Williams. He will also be reuniting with his aunt, Debra Pruett; cousin, Crystal Baade; and his uncle, Ronnie Nichols.
Dillon is survived by his mother, Linda Pruett; father, Guy Wells; step mother, Misty Wells; sister, Shi-Ann Gregory; and his fiance’, Catherine Jordan. Dillon is also survived by his grandparents, Brenda Maxwell and Mickey Williams; Aunts and Uncles; Christine Pruett, Bobby Pruett, Billy Belz and family, Celeste and Joe Momin, Benjamin Rankin, Lorrie and Thomas Cox, Jeannine Nichols, Donnie and Haley Nichols; and his cousins, Melissa and Rickey Bomar, Robert and Nicole Kelly, Ashley McManus, Tiffany Black, Stephanie Chadwick, Shannon Unkerlbach, Kyle and Heather Momin, Jasmine and Kyle Johnson, Chase and Megan Nichols, Haylea Nichols, Lindsay and Lexie Acevedo, Scarlet Ogo, Chris and Cathy Gibbs, Bobbi Colyer, Rickey, Lauren, Alexis and Adison Bomar, Parker, Sawyer, Ryker, and Kennedi Kelly, Ariana and Ivanchy Jr. Crespo, Skylar and Starla Chadwick, Jayden, Zoe, and Ava Black.
