Donald Lee Faircloth, age 80, went to be with his Lord on Friday, 8/19, at 8:30 pm. He grew up in Jacksonville, and joined the Air Force at 17 to become an electronics technician. He saw two tours in Viet Nam, traveled the world, and retired after 20 years to begin a new career in software engineering. He loved to tinker, play his guitar, teach others, and travel the country visiting family and friends. He was well loved by members of his church, where he would play guitar on Sundays. He is preceded by his brother Malcolm, and his sister, Sherry. He is survived by two sisters, Ann and Elizabeth, two brothers, Alvin and John, a daughter, Arleen, a son, Gary, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his best and truest friend, JoAnn. Funeral services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home on Wednesday, 8/24, at 2 pm.
